BRIEF

Create a logo that feels authentic and reflects the architectural feel of the building the shop is located in.

APPROACH

After having an initial meeting with the client, we agreed on some stylistic approaches that would fit her vision of the brand. The client had some requirements as to how and where the brand would appear which would influence the design of the logo.

Following the discussion I designed moodboards that would inspire the look and feel of the final logo. Once the client agreed on a style I was able to create a selection of rough logos informed by the preferred moodboard.

The client was then able to choose the logo they wished to further develop. After refining the final logo and testing it’s use at different sizes and on different supports, I delivered the final brand identity guidelines as well as the vectorised logo to the client.

RESULTS

The client was very happy with the result and felt included in the process which allowed her to have a sense of pride and ownership in the final product. The logo is currently in use and the shop has since opened and is doing well!
